How do your NEW online members sign up?

Hello everyone! I’m trying to gain some insight to how your brand new online members sign up for a membership. Right now the process seems unusually long and I’m losing a lot of clients because of the numerous steps. Can someone tell me what I’m doing wrong? This is only happening for a brand new client who doesn’t yet have a Wellness Living account. It is taking about six steps after the click ADD TO CART or BUY NOW on any class membership.

Currently if a brand new member (one WITHOUT a wellness living account) wants to sign up for my monthly membership program online, the process is….

  1. Click on direct link from my website. Here’s mine …. https://www.wellnessliving.com/rs/catalog-view.html?k_business=425188&id_sale=1&k_id=3291715
  2. Click BUY NOW. Sent to Sign In/Sign up page. That’s right. They are not given any option to actually “Buy Now” or add their credit card. The SIGN UP button is extremely small at the bottom of the screen and many people miss it. But for those who do see it, they click on it and then…
  3. Enter name and email address. NO PLACE TO ADD CREDIT CARD YET!!
  4. Told to go check email to confirm. STILL HAVEN’T PAID YET!!! Seriously, they have now had to click on three buttons and haven’t been asked to provide payment information. This NEEDS to change – it should be one click, enter credit card, sign waiver and THEN create an account after that! The other way around will result is dropped carts.
  5. If by some lucky chance, the person hasn’t completely given up yet, they would have to find the email, open it and then will click on the activate account button
  6. They are just sent back to the BOOK NOW page. So 5-6 clicks now and NO, they are NOT sent back to their cart to add credit card details to the item they originally added, they are NOT even sent back to the link they originally clicked on. They are just sent back to the BOOK NOW button, which gives them NOTHING of what they need.

If anyone can help me figure out what it happening and if there is a workaround so that someone can pay for the service before doing everything else, or at least at the same time, that would be amazing. Right now I think I have to go to PayPal so that I can ensure payment is the first step. I’m still in disbelief that this is so extremely difficult for new clients. They are assuming everyone has a wellness living account. I’ve lost too many potential clients because of this, and I can’t lose anymore. It seems IMPOSSIBLE for anyone without a wellness living account to sign up for my memberships without taking six steps and then landing on an absolutely useless page. I’m so frustrated.
